PumPing Tap Socket

PumPing Tap is a 2011 red dot design concept winner, which can cleverly solve the problem of wastage of electricity by automatically ejecting a plug when the appliance is switched off. About ten minutes later after you’ve turned your device off but haven’t unplugged it, the socket will then eject the plug, so as to completely cut off the electricity.

Of course the last one is our option, so why not have a look at this Breeze Rack, a 2011 red dot design concept winner? It’s a multifunctional towel rack, serving as a hair drier, a bathroom ventilator and a sterilizer except for hanging towels. In other words, almost everything you would need to use in a bathroom can be found in the Breeze Rack, isn’t that great?!

Adjustable Radiation Flashlight

Apparently the 2011 Red Dot Design Concept has brought us with many innovative designs, except for those we’ve introduced before, the Adjustable Radiation Flashlight is another one we’d like to show you. It could shift between concentrated spot-light and wide flood-light modes, based on its flexible plastic plate which contains about 40 individual lights. Hence even though it is designed as one light, the gadget is actually something serving as several different types of lights.

It’s a 2011 Red Dot Design Concept winner, allowing users to switch off gas supply and electricity by rotating the dial and flipping it back to activate them. So how do you like the concept?

Almost every time before I start my happy journey, I have to painfully struggle with my large quantity of clothes and other stuff by jamming them in my smart suitcase… That sucks! So when I firstly saw the Pumpack, a vacuum-packed suitcase that includes a pump to compress clothes, I really couldn’t wait to imagine how easy packaging would be if I got this. Very practical concept and no wonder it has become a 2011 red dot design concept winner.

Floating Pot

You’ve ever seen a flower pot that can move up and down automatically? Meet your surprise with this Floating Pot. It comprises of two containers that fit inside one another: the inner one holds the soil and the plant while the outer one is usually filled with water. When water is added, the inner container then becomes lighter than water and thus moves up. But as the water gets used up, the inner container will move down to remind of the owner that the plant needs some water.
