Claimed “the world’s fastest personal submarine”, the Seabird from AquaVenture features a quite different approach of moving: it has no propulsion system of its own, but actually is towed through the water by a surface vessel. It can be towed on a cable of up to 400 ft in length, travelling at a speed of up to 40 km/h, comparing to normal personal subs’ highest speed of 16 km/h. Basically one surface vessel can tow two submarines at one time, and the Seabirds will provide a habitable atmosphere for 24-72 hours, so that many more people could enjoy the beautiful scenery underwater comfortably and safely.

Submarine is very useful. It is capable to take us down to the underwater. While compared with real fish, especially dolphin, conventional submarine sucks. However, I bet you gotta be surprised after viewing a dolphin submarine like this. [Read the rest of this entry...]
