Leaning Tower Tea Set

20111125009

There’re at least two (or more) Leaning Towers in the world, one is the famous building away in Italy and the other is this ceramic Leaning Tower Tea Set here on my table. It is composed of a teapot, a lid, two cups and a metal basket infuser, making it the greatest tea set for both household using and a gift to others.

Nasty Tea Set

20111018076

Different from most tea sets that emphasize a luxury or exquisite style, the Nasty Set by José Paulo Alves Corceiro features an eccentric and humorous design that endows the tea cups and tea pot with big round eyes, straight rigid figures and arch smiles… Kinda like those cute characters of comics, animated films or books.

Tèo Tea Spoon

20111015009

Yaps I love tea very much, but I never imagined squeezing tea bags to enjoy the ever last drop… It’s bit of weird, if without the help of Tèo Tea Spoon. The innovative gadget makes squeezing tea bags an elegant behavior, simply pull the thread of tea bag through the hollow handle, gently squeeze it and then done. No more water left on tables while you’re removing the bags from the cup, but merely sweet tea ready in cup for you to enjoy.

Moon Bowls

20110911301

The Moon Bowls, which are cleverly designed with a small crescent-shaped shelf inside, can indicate changing shapes of the moon with your favorite green, jasmine or oolong tea. Usually, the bowl will start with a full moon but gradually wane down to a crescent as you sip up the beverage. But never be too sad, as you can get your full moon back after you refill the bowl with some liquid. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Heat Water With A Light Bulb

20100908301

Designed by Estelle Sauvage, a graduate from Ecole Nationale supérieure d’Art et de Design de Saint-Etienne, the new kettle can heat water to 90°C using a light bulb. But of course the bulb is not directly placed into the water! Mounted on a wooden base, the incandescent bulb is actually separated from water by the recess of the glass jug for safety. Emotive Teapot features an interesting tea serving.

20100303301

Originated from Asia, drinking tea is believed as a wonderful way to strengthen the social ties, because people would also have a relaxing chat while enjoying the tea. And the Emotive Teapot is all aimed at intensifying that social and cultural function of drinking tea. It comes with two spouts, enabling the users to pour the tea from both sides. But perhaps the most interesting point is the rocking motion design, simulating several gestural movements of people like nodding and bowing. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Tea Set for Lovers

20100216301

This tea set fits lovers quite well. It features several ‘couple’: the ‘couple’ spouts of the tea pot could offer tea to a couple of cups at one time; and the tea tray is also designed to hold the two matching cups. In other words, everything you see from the elegant tea set always indicates the same number ‘two’, wishing you and your girlfriend/boyfriend a sweet life. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Shark Fin Tea Infuser

20100118701

The Shark Fin Tea Infuser will surely ensure you a funny time during the tea-making process! And similar to tea infusers you’ve ever used, the Shark Fin Tea Infuser also effectively prevents tea leaves from blending with the liquid and therefore allows you to enjoy a ‘pure’ tea. You’ll find the liquid somewhat weird if you’re making black tea, as your tea is turning ‘bloody’! Wow, that’s the most ‘violent’ tea infuser we’ve ever come across.

A New Dimension To Tea Drinking

2009100853

Although it is an extremely elaborate ritual to brew a perfect cup of tea, you may now simplify it with just this Dione Tea Set. As described in the pictures, it is composed of a set of teacups with two hemispheres and a net preventing the tea leaves from entering the cup. The tea set also involves 180 degrees of rotation. Yes, no more complexity but still fragrant tea! Nice.
