20110208101

Many of my friends have frequently complained that they couldn’t mange to save water simply because they cannot control the flow of water freely. Seesaw Faucet Saves Water.

20100909301

Though what you’ve seen from the Seesaw Faucet is mainly fun elements and a distinctive design, Chanhee Han actually cares more about the environment and water energy. As the faucet acts up and down to dispense water from the left side and soap from the right, you’ll no longer have the water keep running when you’re using the soap. In other words, the Seesaw Faucet offers either water or soap at one time, but never both two. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Poor Little Fish Basin

20109004301

No one needs water so much as the fish which would lose their lives without water. So we people are asked to save water for fish. Designed by Yan Lu, the “Poor Little Fish” basin consists of a fish bowl and a basin, and the fish may lose its water when you’re washing your hands. But when the water stops, the water level in the bowl then goes back to the same level. As a result, to keep the fish alive, you need to save water. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Orbital Washing Machine

20100810101

Orbital Washing Machine, which takes the very name from the fact that it has a spherical drum spinning on two axes, is an eco-friendly home appliance that would save you great amounts of water and energy. When the machine works, its spherical drum will spin on the two axes to move the clothes in all directions so that they can get washed with little energy and water. Each Bottle is A Water Purifier.

20100402301

321 — pronounced “three to one” — is a reusable water bottle, or more exactly a portable water purifier designed to provide clean water to travelers. The concept behind the simple name is quite impressive: three liters of water is required to manufacture merely one liter of bottled water, but you could save more water using the 321 Water. Besides, the product also helps to reduce the need of plastic bottles.

Designed by Gretha Oost, Paul Charlwood and Andrew Howley, the innovative water purification system is easy to use, all you have to do is to fill the bottle with tap water through a drip system and slot in the filter.

One filter can last 100 uses (about 50 liters) and it could be purchased separately. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Rotary Dial Style Faucet

20100401201

It seems like almost every time you use the faucet, there’s seldom a person advising you to conserve the water- but it doesn’t mean you needn’t do that. The good news is that you’ll never feel guilty of wasting the water coz you won’t have the chance any more. Designed by Eun ji Byeon, the Rotary Dial Style Faucet asks you to set the duration for the flow, therefore offering you enough water while not wasting too much. So 5 seconds for washing one hand, and another 5 for the other, is that enough? [Read the rest of this entry...]

Futuristic skyscrapers will capture the rainwater.

20100317201

Everybody knows clearly that daily consumption of water could be recycled by rainwater, which could then be purified and used again to meet our daily needs of pure water. But the problem is: we seldom know how to ‘harvest’ and recycle rainwater effectively. Possibly the ‘Capture The Rain’ skyscraper will show us a new way. The concept building features a special roof to collect as much rainwater as it possible, as well as reservoirs under the roof to store large amounts of water. Apart from meeting its inhabitants’ daily need, rainwater collected by the skyscraper will also be stored in reservoir under the building for other uses. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Keep2Green

20100129301

Simpler but practical designs are always popular and today we’ll show you another ‘we should have thought of that before’ product. It is the ‘Keep2Green’ pot by Paul Gribincea. The concept about it is quite simple: the system makes a full use of the space and water by planting some grass beneath the hanging pot. So you’ve gotten that? Good. Mainly made from metal, ‘Keep2Green’ is heavy enough to withstand moderate winds and holds the flower pot steadily in the air. [Read the rest of this entry...]

Massage Label of Water Bottle

20100122401

“Water is the source of life”, possibly nobody could have a more profound understanding of that than those who are faced with the terrible problem of an acute lack of clean water. Yes, those people are in great need of our help and what we could do is to send some water to them. Look at these water bottles, each of them is missing 50ml water out of the 500ml bottle, which is all delivered to kids in countries of lack of water. And on that place where the water is missing is a graphics that shows how important the 50ml water is to those kids. They need our help and of course we should do more for them. Faucet asks you to conserve water.

20091210101

‘Conserve water’, ‘conserve water’, almost everyone has had that at heart, but what do we actually do? We just incidentally waste water time and time again. But next time you use the water, you’ll have to think twice as the ‘Twist’ faucet will make things difficult if you use too much. Controlled by an aerator, the tap won’t give out any water unless you twist it to a certain degree, and the more water you use this time, the more work you’ll have to do next time. Just look at the digital read-out, you’ll know clearly how much water you’ve used. [Read the rest of this entry...]

With the social development, energy-saving has been gradually advocated and one of the most valuable resources we need to conserve is water. But how could we conserve water effectively? To save and use rainwater is a good solution. The Rainwater Collector pictured here is just a cool tool that helps you to conserve rainwater without occupying too much space. Measuring 2-inch wide, the tank can hold up as much water as up to 650 gallons, meeting all your basic needs. What’s more, as the tank is made of UV stabilized high-density polyethylene, it is also free of algae.

Rain Water Filtering System

2009082630.jpg

Though I used to imagine that one day we could simply raise our heads up to drink water directly, I’ve never thought that day would come so soon. Named as “Sky Water”, the spacey looking device can collect rain water through the ring, filter it in the holding tank and then drive fresh water out from the bottom. It is really a good product that deserves our expectation over the years.

Water Collecting Machine

2009061129.jpg

Rainwater, moisture, etc, almost any water in the air could all be absorbed by the water collecting machine through the collector on top and both sides. After running through layers of filters, the collected water could then get pure, which is therefore suitable for drinking.

Recycling Bath Sink

Close the tap while brushing your teeth is a good habit, otherwise a lot of clean water will be wasted at basin. The recycling bath sink designed by Woo Sunhye can save the clean water under the basin for later use.

There is a hole connecting to the storage under the basin. The hole comes with a lip which can be opened by the water pressure. In other words, the lip will open when the clean water directly flowing down from the tap. When you put your hands under the water, its pressure is dispersed. This will cause the lid to close and the water will flow down the normal drainpipe. [Read the rest of this entry...]

In common sense, toilet is rushed by water. However, this ECOJOHN toilet can clean the dejection with fire.
